On a wet fall day, I wandered along this river looking for a place to photograph. Most of the way was not very interesting. I stood here for at least ten minutes thinking about the river crisscrossing the landscape. The water was moving very slowly and as I look at the trees along the river bank, I thought about the slow and varied path of the river. It was so peaceful and calm. The word popped into my head as a perfect description of the river.
