The Cut - Scott’s Run Nature Preserve, McLean, VA

I love little rivers that cut their way through a rocky landscape. They create such great patterns and shapes to the water worn rocks. Scott’s Run Nature Preserve is a small but interesting park. Wonderful paths through the hilly landscape. The river leads to a wonderful waterfall that pours into a cove on the edge of the Potomac River.
