Vapor Trails
What a morning it was! Getting out to the “rock pile” at 6 a.m. on frosty morning takes determination. The long drive to Lake Moraine and the walk to the edge of the lake was in total darkness and lit by a headlamp. As the sun came up the sky constantly transformed. Suddenly out of the spaces between each peak streaks of clouds crossed the vista. It was exhilarating and we were sitting there in awe. The streaks looked like vapor trails and I named this photograph in memory of Canada’s most famous drummer, Neal Peart. Rush fans will know the reference.
