A favorite local spot along the North River is quite captivating. It is a special spot for me. I could sit at this river bank and stare out at this crisscrossing of trees any time of day and be totally relaxed. The lush green grasses and leaves glow in the afternoon light and create a fairytale setting. It is barely visible from the nearby road, but when I drive by, I look through the trees and see the X formed by the river bank tree trunks. It instantly projects a feeling of calm. X marks the spot.
