There's something special about being out in a beautiful place for the first light of day. The quickly changing colors that chase away the shadows bring a warmth to the soul - even on a chilly morning. I was never a morning person until I discovered the magic of experiencing the golden hour. This morning I was standing at the base of this jetty imagining it reached all the way across to the horizon at the edge of the Chesapeake Bay. I wanted to walk out to the end and touch the sky.
